The truck toll now also applies to vehicles over 3.5 tons in Germany
Since July 1, the truck toll in Germany also applies to vehicles over 3.5 tons. Logistik Heute reports that the revenues are supposed to be used half for federal highways and half for rail expansion. The extension affects about 330,000 vehicles and is expected to generate an additional 500 million euros in 2024.
CEP Study 2024 – Analysis of the Market in Germany
Good news for the CEP sector! The CEP industry association BPEX reveals in its latest study that the decline in shipment volume from 2022 has halted. Although a significant recovery after the crises of recent years has not occurred, a total of 4.175 billion shipments were transported in 2023, about 25 million more than the previous year. This month, we’re introducing the all-new Webbooker, which supports creating both bookings and packages. The separate Package Webbooker will no longer be available.
